Deen Studio ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Deen Studio web application available at deenstudio.app (the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store this in Firebase Authentication to identify your account.

Content you create. Reels and settings you choose to save are stored in Firestore under your user ID so you can access them across sessions.

Usage data. We do not run our own analytics. Firebase may collect aggregate, anonymised usage metrics as part of its infrastructure (see Google's privacy policy).

Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment details are handled directly by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and maintain your session.
• To save and restore your reels, settings, and preferences.
• To process subscription payments via Stripe.
• To operate and improve the Service.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates the following third-party providers, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, and hosting.
• Google Gemini AI — AI-powered verse search (your search queries are sent to Google's API).
• Pexels — background video search (your search queries are sent to Pexels' API).
• Quran.com API — verse text, translations, and recitation audio.
• Stripe — subscription billing.
• YouTube Data API — optional, only when you choose to publish a reel to YouTube.

4. YouTube API Services

When you connect your YouTube account to publish reels, Deen Studio uses the YouTube Data API. Your use of YouTube features is additionally governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke Deen Studio's access to your YouTube account at any time via your Google Account security settings.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at the address below. Stripe retains payment records as required by law.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS and Firebase security rules to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
